Community outreach

Manatee County Search & Rescue is committed to serving our community through education, outreach, and public engagement. Throughout the year, our volunteers participate in community events across Manatee County, providing hands-on opportunities for children and adults to learn about search and rescue operations, emergency preparedness, and public safety.

Our team is available to attend community events, schools, civic organizations, and public safety expos with interactive displays featuring our specialized rescue equipment, emergency response vehicles, and certified K-9 teams. These presentations offer a unique opportunity to meet our volunteers, explore our capabilities, and learn how Search & Rescue supports our community during emergencies.
